Elections are being held on Thursday 4th May 2023 for all seats on Test Valley Borough Council, as well as all seats on Parish and Town Councils across the Test Valley area.

Register to vote at the elections on 4th May 2023
In order to vote in these elections, you need to be registered on the Register of Electors and you must be:
Resident in the Test Valley Borough Council area on the date of the election;
A British, Irish or Commonwealth citizen, or a citizen of a member state of the European Union;
18 years old or over.
If you are an eligible elector and you are already on the Register of Electors in Test Valley, you do not need to re-register for these elections.

Voter ID
From May 2023, you will be required to show photographic identification at the polling station before you are issued with your ballot paper. For more information on this, please see the Test Valley Borough Council Voter ID FAQs.
Voting by post or proxy
If you are unable to get to your polling station on 4th May 2023, there are different options available to you in order for you to cast your vote:
By post – if you apply to vote by post by Tuesday 4th April 2023, your postal vote will be dispatched first class around Monday 17th April 2023.
If you apply to vote by post between Tuesday 4 April 2023 but before the deadline of 5pm Tuesday 18 April 2023, your postal vote will be dispatched first class around Monday 24th April 2023.

By Proxy– the deadline to apply to vote by proxy at these elections is 5pm on Tuesday 25th April 2023. Details of where your polling station is located will be found on your poll card, which will be sent to you around the end of March 2023.

In view of the current inclement weather and in the interests of health and safety for all concerned, it has been decided to CANCEL this evening’s Enham Alamein Parish Council meeting at April’s Farm at 7.00pm. Please therefore do NOT make the journey to April’s Farm as there will be NO meeting. The Parish Council regrets the inconvenience caused but these are circumstances outside the control of the parish council and the necessary decision has been made.
